The Teacher's Toolbox
The perfect way to lend your support! Contribute to ACT with a gift toward classroom supplies, educational materials, instructional equipment, Field Study, Classroom technology, and teacher development-all of the tools a teacher needs to succeed in his/her classroom. Learn all about ACT's curriculum, and the direct impact your funds are having in the classroom.

Host a College Tour
Do you remember college like it was yesterday? Partner with ACT's College & Career Resource Center to host a day long group tour at your alma mater or other Midwest-area college. Individuals who have attended a 4-year institution within a day's driving distance from Chicago can host a small group of students and a staff member on a tour of their campus. Hosts are asked to give a contribution toward the cost of the trip. To learn more: Email Renee C. Jackson at rcumberbatch@actcharter.org and contact LaShanna Bankston at lbankston@actcharter.org for hosting details.

The Career Development Program
Looking for your next protégé? Partner with ACT through its Career Development Program to provide entry level internship and career exposure opportunities to eligible Seniors. Student interns work (unpaid) for a full 8-hour business day, Monday - Thursday at their internship site. The Program lasts approximately 7 weeks during the spring. The Director of Career Development will work with your company to identify the most suitable intern candidates and placement area. Contact Rhonda Kelley at rkelley@actcharter.org to find out more.
